ABOUT THE PARTNERS
RICHARD H. WETTER-- Tax Partner
Dick has over forty years of experience in all areas of individual, corporate, partnership, estate and fiduciary taxation including tax planning and consultation and preparation and review of tax returns. The clients he services include sole proprietorships, partnerships, including limited liability companies and corporations including extensive work with medical groups and practice, nonprofit organizations, professional sport franchises and professional athletes. Dick was recognized by Money Magazine as one of the best tax practitioners in the United States. His tax experience includes consulting on acquisitions, mergers, liquidations and sales of businesses, implementation of alternative tax accounting methods such as LIFO and adoption of employee benefit programs. He also worked with individuals relocating to the Western New York area from other areas.
His experience also includes extensive tax representation service before agent and appeals levels of the Internal Revenue Service. From 1978 to 1980, Dick worked in the London, England and Brussels, Belgium offices of Price Waterhouse & Co., where he gained extensive experience in U.S. expatriate taxation including tax equalization programs for expatriate employees of several major U.S. Corporations.
WILLIAM E. MANCINI --Partner
Bill has over thirty years of experience in many facets of taxation, auditing accounting and management and computer consulting for closely held companies. He has experience in providing services to medical and legal practices, elder care services, insurance industry, construction contractors, real estate development and management companies, engineering professionals, professional athletes, entertainers, manufacturing, wholesale, retail, hotels and restaurants.
In addition, his experience includes implementation of computerized and manual accounting systems and the utilization of LIFO inventory method.
BARBARA S. ARNOLD --Partner
Barb has over thirty years of experience in auditing, accounting and taxation for closely held companies and nonprofit organizations. Has substantial experience in providing services to the insurance industry, construction contractors, high-tech companies, hotels, nonprofit organizations, manufacturing, retail, automobile dealerships, and medical and legal professionals.
Experience also includes management consulting on accounting systems, retirement plans, purchase and sale of businesses, business valuation and tax planning issues.
THOMAS J. SEMANCHIN
Tom has over forty-five years of experience in all facets of taxation, auditing, accounting and management consulting for closely held companies. He has substantial experience in providing services to the medical, engineering and legal professions, insurance industry, construction contractors, real estate development and management companies, waste disposal companies, courier delivery service, industrial refining and recycling companies, manufacturing, nonprofit organizations, retail, hotels restaurants, and automobile dealerships.
His experience also includes liquidations, purchase and sale of businesses and tax-free incorporation of various partnerships and sole proprietorships. He is skilled in the implementation of numerous cost and accounting systems including the utilization of the LIFO inventory method.
JUDITH C. OUN, MANAGER
Judy has over fifteen years of experience in auditing, accounting, taxation and computer consulting for closely held companies. She has experience in providing services to medical and legal professionals, engineering professionals, construction contractors, real estate management companies, nonprofit organizations, wholesale, retail, and hotels and restaurants.
Experience also includes implementation and training of computerized accounting systems (primarily Quickbooks) and tax planning issues. She is also a Certified Financial Planner and assists clients in implementing retirement, estate and personal financial plans.
